Because of you, we crossed paths and have become so close❤️ I know just how much you meant to your parents and it was an honor to have ever taken care of you.🥺 you were so silly & so loving & you were never meant to suffer. It’s weird not listening to your pitter patters or finding a blanky just for you to be wrapped in. Sweet boy, If id known the last time i saw you was going to be the last, i would have hugged you a little harder goodbye.🥺 thank you for your over the top excitement at every pick up & for loving us non stop here🥹 You didn’t deserve to leave so soon :( but to know you were wagging your nub til the very end just seemed right for you. ❤️❤️❤️ fly high happy boy! It’s with a very heavy heart & eyes full of tears that i come on to let you guys know, my stormi girl is reunited with her brother. I am certain that I’ll never find a cat like her ever again. She was so affectionate with dogs, strangers and even other cats. 😞 her meow would spread a smile on our face because she never missed an opportunity to tell house how she felt 🥺 She was the cuddliest thing you’d ever met & she was the best possible companion to us and eventually our son.❤️my heart is hurting so much between these losses & i find comfort in knowing she’s never had the chance to truly suffer. Crazy because when i was on the other side of euthanasias as a vet tech, my heart broke when people would ask me “Do you think i’m making the right choice?” And i could only answer with such: “at the end of this lifetime, you are the only one who truly knows your pet. You know their habits, their behaviors and what they love. And if one day you have seen that the dog or cat that you once knew, was fading everyday. You’d want to help them as best as you can. Unfortunately sometimes that means ending their suffering and although IT HURTS LIKE HELL… it hurts more to watch them endure agony.

Stormi is my first euthanasia… i second guessed myself the entire time up until i realized… we couldn’t watch her suffer for our own selfishness. I love you stormi baby. Thank you for being the best kitten i could have ever asked for. 😞❤️

I still can’t believe I’m writing this…

My heart shattered into little pieces today. My sweet potato has crossed the rainbow bridge & I’ve been trying to process this information all day. Foxy, you were with me from the start. You witnessed so many phases of me. From a young adult learning to navigate life to watching me become a mom & accepting my little bean. Being apart of your life was the biggest honor and I know each and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting you will keep a little piece of you in their hearts. The amount of people who loved you and didn’t even know you still surprises me. You radiated sunshine everywhere you went! I’m not going to know what to do with myself for a while.. 😞

You lived such a happy life full of endless belly rubs, endless forehead kisses & SO MANY friends.
You were in the exact place you needed to be. With a mom who loved you and fought til the very end for you.❤️

Thank you for all these years Foxy. I’ll never forget you. Also, safe to say your bark will forever be etched in my heart❤️ Love you baby girl ❤️ We’ll all be missing you forever😞❤️

The Critter Sitter was founded in 2014 when I , Mildred Neal decided to pursue my love for animals even further. Growing up with many pets really helped me understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. After high school, I started my first job at Petsmart. I enjoyed every bit of meeting people and the most important thing to them. I met so many pets big and small! My life revolved around pets and it was great. After a year and a half at Petsmart, I decided to apply for Banfield to further my animal care experience. I learned so much from great coworkers. Everyday was a great day because I came into work knowing I was helping a pet. I began petsitting for coworkers and it all went up hill from there! With time, I was taking care of pets and showing them all the love they deserved! Fast forward 5 years and here I am. I was able to cut my hours at the vet and pursue this business full-time. I have loved every moment of making this company what its become. My clients are my family and their pets are just as mine.
