Set Spotlight: 🪴 The Greenhouse! For years we designed our 7-acre studio to bring the best of DFW’s favorite photo locations and consolidated them into one private, fenced, dog-friendly space. The dock from White Rock Lake, the open fields from Arbor Hills, the barn from Samuel Farm. But since we opened this flower-filled wonderland in April, it has quickly become one of my all-time favorite places to photograph dogs. Unique both in the way it looks and feels.

Without fail, dog moms start to glow as soon as they walk in. The colors and filtered sunlight inspire so much joy, but the atmosphere is what sparks the real magic. The rest of the world seems to fade, letting you be present and focus on the beauty of the moment with your pup.

Our greenhouse flowers will only be available for two more months before we transition them out for the season. If this feels like somewhere you and your dog need to spend an afternoon together, we’d love to create something beautiful for you!

I was so excited to book a session for two Corgis in October today 👏🏼 All of my dogs are over 100 pounds, but sometimes I want to get a little Corgi to boss them all around 😆

“It’s almost Fourth of July, then it’s almost Christmas!” I can’t believe I’m saying this in June, but if you’re thinking about a fall session, the time is NOW to reach out, especially if you need specific days of the week. September is almost full and weekends are filling fast for the rest of the year.

Haute Dog sessions aren’t just thrown together when you arrive, they’re planned from the moment you first tell me about you and your dog. Today I booked a maternity session for a woman and her husband in August. When I asked about her vision, she said she was having a girl and wanted something feminine. I mentioned flowers and the greenhouse and she was all in, so I’m going big with the flowers, pulling inspiration from some of my favorite sets and brainstorming beautiful ways to fulfill mama’s dreams with her first (4-legged) baby as they prepare for their growing family.

When we poured the foundation for our studio, we pressed three things into the concrete: my handprint and the paw prints of the dog who shaped my past and the one who carries me forward. Not because I thought anyone would ever see them, but because they represent the reason this place exists.

Every family that comes here is standing somewhere along that same journey. Loving a dog they can’t imagine life without. Hoping to hold onto the little things that make them who they are and the feeling of being loved by them.

This was never built to be just a pet photography studio. It was built as a place where dogs can be fully themselves, where memories are made on purpose, and where the love stories between pets and their people are treated with the importance they deserve.

Today is World Pet Memorial Day, and I’m reminded that the dogs who change us never really leave. They become part of the foundation of everything that comes after. ❤️
