Echo, the fluffy white Coton de Tulear, came to UrgentVet with a bite wound — but this brave boy wasn’t about to let that keep him down! We cleaned his wound and added a couple stitches so he can get back to making his Echo heard loud and clear.

Have you ever seen a Teddy bear this huggable?
This adorable Shih Tzu named Teddy came to UrgentVet limping on his front right paw. We found a tiny puncture between his toes after shaving the fur around the area and cleaning the wound, but the sneaky grass awn we suspected was nowhere to be found.

A couple of weeks later, Teddy came back for a recheck, still not quite himself. This time, with the help of sedation, our team was able to find and remove the hidden grass awn that had been bothering him all along!

Now this is a cloud that won't block your sunny day! ☁️

Addy the Lhasa Apso visited us at UrgentVet after her family noticed her having stomach issues; She might have munched on something that's not food! After a little lab work to rule out the scary stuff and some treatments for her symptoms, Addy’s now back home plotting her next snack (responsibly, of course!).

We're grateful to have been trusted with her care, and wish her a speedy recovery!

🐧 Meet Penguin — no, not the bird, but an adorable kitty whose face is the purrfect ! ✨
Penguin stopped by UrgentVet after getting a little cut on his paw. We cleaned him up, gave him an antibiotic shot plus a pain injection to keep him comfortable, and sent him home to rest up those cute little toe beans.
Penguin was kind enough to show off that kitty smile for these wonderful shots; He's earned his "Sweetest Face" award for sure — Thank you for being such a wonderful patient!

This cat's name may be Poppy, but we were her "Poppy"-razzi for sure!
Sweet girl Poppy came to see us because of her vomiting, so we performed x-rays to rule out more serious conditions. Thankfully we didn't see signs of obstruction, so we gave Poppy anti-nausea injections to help her feel more comfortable and sent her home with medication to continue her recovery.
Vomiting can be caused by a variety of issues in cats—from dietary indiscretion to illness—so we’re glad her family brought her in promptly. Poppy was a wonderful patient, and we’re wishing her a smooth and speedy recovery!
