🌸🐶 Help Us Raise $20,000 for our Rescue Dogs! 🐶🌸

Spring is here, and so is our Spring Into Action Fundraiser! Our goal is to raise $20,000 to pay off medical bills, boarding charges, new promotional materials, and our new trailer. Every donation and share helps!

Doodles in Shelters? Yes, Yes They Are!

You’ve seen them—the fluffy, curly-coated pups with big, soulful eyes. They’re called doodles, but did you know that "doodle" isn’t actually a breed? It’s a poodle mix! 🐾

✨ What is a Doodle? ✨
A doodle is any dog that has been mixed with a poodle. Some of the most common include:
🐶 Labradoodle (Labrador + Poodle)
🐶 Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever + Poodle)
🐶 Sheepadoodle (Old English Sheepdog + Poodle)

And when we’re not quite sure of the mix? We call them poodle mixes!

People often love doodles for their intelligence, friendly nature, and “hypoallergenic” coats. But here’s the reality: doodles aren’t always easy dogs to own. They require regular grooming, training, and exercise—and when they don’t get it, they can develop anxiety, behavioral issues, and painfully matted coats.

That’s why so many doodles end up in shelters. 💔 When families realize they aren’t the low-maintenance dogs they expected, doodles like Jutta find themselves abandoned, surrendered, or left to fend for themselves.

That’s where Doodle Rock Rescue steps in—to give them the second chance they deserve. 💙
