Rigs starting off the year with 5 and a half mile trail with his bff Kodi! He is da happiest when he is with his fwiend. So happy that he launched himself into the water - doing his very own January polar plunge!!! Thought mom was going to have to dive in after him. He’s never done that before 🤪

2025 was a BIG year for the Bennett Bunch. 🐾

12 fosters total. One foster cat with , one puppy, one very broken adult cat, and nine kittens who absolutely ran our house. We learned how to bottle feed, survived more ringworm than anyone should experience, and of course ended up with a lot of orange cats again.

Cricket showed us what resilience looks like with legs bent at 90 degrees. Buffalo Wild Wing kept his leg and stole our hearts. Nashville and Habanero officially became family forever. 😻

We explored new sniff spots, went on tons of walks and hikes, took our first camping cabin trip in January, and packed in adventures with friends old and new.

And we ended the year with something we have not done in almost eight years of fostering. A two month foster break. It has been heavenly, necessary, and very earned.

Grateful for every messy, magical, fur covered moment 2025 brought us. 💛 2026 loading… and knowing us, it probably involves more kittens.

Mozzarella Stick found her home of her own! Our 12th and final foster of 2025 (and the one who wrapped up our ringworm adventures for the year) is officially adopted. We’re so proud of her progress and ready for a little break with our own crew before diving back in for more lifesaving in 2026. 💛🐾

Rigs wants to share that he has a 3 out 3 paw experience last at Atlas Pet Vets (that’s a 5 ⭐️ rating for this tripod!!) We’ve been on the hunt for a Fear Free clinic because our Riggy has some handling sensitivity from the trauma he experienced as a puppy with 2 broken legs, resulting in his hind leg being amputated. Dr. Lauren Anthony was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. We are super excited for this relationship and looking forward to future care with this team. 🖤🤍

Bennett Bunch Foster Kitten Line Up! 🐾

🧅💍 Onion Ring: Scheduled for her spay on Monday, officially clear of the fungal jungle, and already loving her new furrrriends. She’ll be ready to go to her home of her once she gets an application 😻

🧀 Mozzarella Stick: Spay + eyelid surgery coming up in a couple of weeks. She’s healing from ringworm, snuggly, playful, and such a little lovebug.

🌶️ Spicy Ranch: Our social butterfly! She’s had so many applications that we had to pause her listing. She’s meeting a potential family this week. All spice, all fun.

🍗 Little Baby (aka Lil BBQ): Adopted this week! 🥳 Our 3rd adoption in 3 weeks. He came to us unexpectedly (check our highlight for the full story) and ended up being a sweet, fun surprise.

💚 Fostering means saying hello and goodbye, but every update is another happy chapter. Which kitten do you think is keeping us the busiest right now? 🤪😹

Our sweetie girl had the best transformation!!

At just 6 months old, Cricket was found with all 8 toes dislocated, walking on her wrists and covered in painful blisters. It was heartbreaking. But she wasn’t alone for long.

She received expert care: braces, water therapy, and a lot of love. And step by step, she started to heal.

🐶 Today, Cricket is happy, healthy, and thriving, living proof of what’s possible when we show up for the injured and forgotten.

And that’s what Soirée is all about.

✨ Happy Tails: Cheese Curd ✨

I never even got to properly introduce Cheese Curd before he stole our hearts. He was only supposed to be a short-term foster, but then ringworm showed up and we ended up quarantining and treating him. He was the first in our little “fungal jungle,” and because of him we were able to say yes to two more kittens with ringworm that would’ve had a difficult time finding a foster.

Over time, he turned into the snuggliest, funniest, most playful little guy. We’ve loved every minute with him and it’s bittersweet to see him go, but we know he’s headed to the best home.
