Some puppies leave with a piece of your heart.
And some were always meant to stay connected to it. 🧡
This past weekend, we celebrated one of the proudest moments of my life as my daughter graduated from Claremont Graduate University in California, with her Master’s Degree in Social Psychology. Watching her walk that stage was emotional in all the best ways — because behind the accomplishment is years of discipline, sacrifice, intelligence, and heart 🤎.
And the beautiful thing? She’s not finished yet. This is only a pit stop on the way to her PhD journey, with just three more years to go. ✨
What many people may not know is that long before graduate school, long before Austin, and long before Cityscape became what it is today… she helped me build part of the foundation of this program.
From helping raise puppies, to loving this breed alongside me, Cityscape has always quietly carried pieces of our family story within it.
So it only felt right that one very special puppy from the Misfit Litter found her forever home with her.
“Sassy,” now Jackie, already seems completely at home in Austin with her new mom.
And just like that, every puppy from the Misfit Litter has officially found their families.
To every family who trusted us with one of these babies — thank you 🙏🏾! Watching each puppy land exactly where they’re meant to be never gets old.
This one just happened to mean a little extra 💫.
Congratulations, my girl. Your roots are deep, your future is bright, and I could not be prouder of the woman you’ve become.
Love you- Megs
