If all goes well with moms and babies, they’ll be ready to go home the week of New Years 2024! 🎉

QC has been quiet but we’ve been working on some BIG changes before our fall/winter litters!

We will be introducing a price decrease on babies, no waitlists - babies will be picked after birth, paid in full discounts and adults will be free or discounted with purchases of starter kits.
But besides the wordy things….

We’d like to introduce one of our newest BIG additions to our herd!
All the way from Utah from Quill Berry Hedgehogs and Sugar Gliders is one of our newest girls who we’ve named Valhalla 🩷

She’s so super sweet and we are so lucky to have her join our program!

QC IS READY! 🦔
With recent inquiries, we’ve decided to add a couple late summer pairings!
These pairings will be announced August 1st! Which means they’ll be ready to go home around Halloween 🎃

PERKS TO JOINING THE WAITLIST

- all who join the waitlist will receive $25 off the final price of your hedgehog!
- to hold a waitlist spot, we’ve lowered the deposit price to $50 down, instead of $75. This payment goes towards your final price of your baby
- you have the option to choose AfterPay! Instead of paying in full for your baby and/or kit on the spot, AfterPay lets you take your baby home on ready day and you pay 4 equal payments every two weeks
- Your baby will come with a cuddle sack, food to transition, and a few of their favorite toys 🧸

Bonding is critical when owning a hedgehog! 🦔

“Bonding is a big part of hedgehog ownership. You will want to stick to a routine of handling your hedgie everyday. This can be as easy as letting him sleep in a hedgie bag on your lap, holding or supervising playtime in an escape-proof pen. Getting your hedgehog used to your scent is the most important part of bonding. Once he has associated your scent with safety and security, he will likely become more outgoing and be more comfortable with handling.”

Every couple of years, we have multiple adults looking for new homes from our program.
Why?
Because we believe that after our hedgehogs have worked, they deserve the best retired life ❤️ we only breed when there’s a need!
We also do this to diversify our lines in our program.
So without further ado-
We have several retiring hedgies looking to make their way way to their retired homes!

Maverick - she is 2 years old and full of s***k! She has been a fantastic momma hog and is looking to be the queen of the castle. She will be ready to leave the corner 4/16

Kryxis - is a 3 year old stud muffin who comes running when he hears his food bowl getting filled. He’s a little on the shy side but will come out and explore when he feels comfortable

Palermo - this 2 year old hunk is a couch potato and totally ok with it! He isn’t high maintenance, just needs a nice large cuddle sack and a lap to hang out on

Balcones - 2 year old beautiful guy! He hasn’t had the best luck with the ladies, orrrr maybe he doesn’t want luck with the ladies 😝 he’s shy for about 2 seconds and then ready to come out and see what’s going on in the world!

You will not be added to the waitlist based on your “word” or only an approved application

To be fair to everyone - waitlist spots are given to those in the order in which the depot is received, along with an approved application.
Exclusion of either of those will delay your wanted position on the waitlist.

We have had a lot of inquiries on our spring litters and at this time, we cannot make exceptions to any one person.

At this time, there is only ONE (1) guaranteed waitlist spot for Voodoos litter.
If you wish to be on the waitlist in case of a dropout or on the general waitlist for a different litter - same rules apply. You will only be put on those lists when an approved application is received and the $75 deposit which is still NON-REFUNDABLE

It’s that time! 💛

We’ve gotten some questions on when our next litters will be and we’ve decided on which 2 girls we will be moving forward with!
Here at QC, we will only breed if there is a need!

VooDoo and Rhaenyra will be our next set of mamas!

We will be finalizing this week which of our boys they’ll be paired with but we will only breed these girls if we have at least 3-4 on our waitlist with deposits paid.

Please message us to secure a spot on our waitlisters. You can choose right away which mom you’d like a baby from, or you can sign up on a general waitlist to see who the girls will be paired with this week and choose once it’s announced.
