What a year for The Barking Project! We not only brought together more than 25 rescues and 200 dogs as part of our annual adoption day, we also raised more than $51,000 and were granted an additional $10,000 from Spectrum Brands and Good n Fun during our feature on The Kelly Clarkson Show Thank you to NBC DFWand NBC News for amplifying our voice!

FAILED BY HIS OWNER TWICE AND IS NOW ON THE LIST TO BE EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE 11/1.

Meet ZEKE ( ), a gorgeous, 1-year-old Pittie (63 lbs) waiting at Dallas Animal Services (DAS). If you watch his video, you'll see he's just one big, goofy lovebug who is aching to be cuddled! HE KNOWS TRICKS LIKE "SIT" AND IS DOG FRIENDLY!

Sadly, Zeke is a prime example of a great dog who doesn't "market himself" well at the shelter. When people walk by, he barks and can seem scary, but that's just him desperately trying to get attention! He is the sweetest little snuggle buddy who will cuddle and love you forever!

Zeke's time is running out and he needs our help! Please share to help find his hero that will adopt or foster him.

🚨 Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center NEEDS YOUR HELP! The shelter is at 100% Capacity for Dogs 🚨

Right now, every kennel in our shelter is full. That means we need our community more than ever to step up for the dogs who are waiting.

We have many dogs who are already spayed/neutered, vaccinated against distemper, and ready to leave TODAY — all they need is a place to call home.

And since our intakes are open, new pets are coming in daily. We urgently need placement for the dogs who are healthy, ready, and waiting for forever love so that we can continue to help those still arriving.
