Old Fashioned King one of the OTTBs that is in training at Fox Run Farm did his very first class at Elite Show Jumping’s Derby Days at Wills Park today. Sam Stevens was in the irons aboard King for his first class and his first ribbon. He sailed around the course in fine fashion.

We had a wonderful weekend at GIHP in Conyers, GA with the H.J Fox team. We were all excited to go to a show after the long break due to COVID 19 and Vickie and her crew delivered. The show was a sell out under socially distant stabling rules. I believe there were about 300 teams there. The HJ Fox team delivered a great day of schooling on Friday starting at 9 am! It is so nice for green riders and green horses to have practice time at the show before doing classes. Thank you also for a variety of TIP classes for our OTTB (Off the Track Thoroughbreds). Here at Fox Run Farm we like to give former race horses new careers as jumpers and sometimes hunters, but we can’t do that without good local shows. Sam Stevens was ecstatic to be back in the irons on Old Fashioned King one of here latest OTTBs. He was calm, cool, and collected in the busy environment of this former Olympic venue. We are looking forward to the next local Fox show.
