A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our DOGSboro supporters yesterday! We had a record number of Townies join us for daycare & boarding, enjoying play with their packs, new healthy apple/yogurt & sweet potato treats at noon, and pup cups on their way home. Pawrents & community members were most generous in their t-shirt & raffle ticket purchases. DE’s Office of Animal Welfare was here to meet everyone & share vital dog health & license information with pawrents. Coastal Freeze was here preparing ice cream & pup cups. Milk & Honey Cafe was selling fresh baked dog snacks, and Fells Point Surf Shop was (is) selling DOGSboro t-shirts. And, finally, the Town of Dagsboro was 100% committed to our DOGSboro idea & being our partner throughout the planning & ex*****on processes. Cheers to this year’s celebration & making next year’s even better!

In honor of , Dagsboro is officially becoming DOGSboro for the day!

This special proclamation celebrates the dogs who make our lives better every day. It’s also shining a spotlight on our DOGust fundraiser supporting Dagsboro’s annual K-9 Benefit & Community Night.

Busy day at Hounds Town as we have boarders coming and going today + daycare dogs! Tomorrow is a big day as we celebrate International Dog Day and the renaming of Dagsboro to “DOGSboro” by official Proclamation from the Town of Dagsboro! Stop by for the pawty as we have treats for both our Townies and pawrents, plus “DOGSboro” shirts and raffles tickets for sale with all proceeds supporting Buzz the Dagsboro K-9! 🐶🐾🐕😊

Today’s Hounds Town Ambassador is Miss Maggie. She comes to daycare on days that her mom, Debra Teal, is working at the store. Maggie absolutely loves playing with the other dogs her size, including Oliver, the mini-dachshund. The two of them are usually closing up shop a few times a week together.

Lots of big dogs with lots to say - Frank & Nash had quite the conversation and Agnes & Winnie are enjoying the play set! In the play area with the small dogs Ace & Daisy are running circles around everybody while Joey & Lucy have their cameos! 🤗🐕🐾🐶

DOGSboro Week means meeting some of our Ambassador Dogs, members of the Hounds Town Dagsboro family that you probably see playing here with their packs pretty frequently. Penelope, a labradoodle, and Oliver, a mini-dachshund, are best friends and love to spend time together lounging on the deck, taking walks, and snuggling with their humans.
