LIGHTS OFF! This weekend is expected to be a busy one with the fall bird migration season upon us. Almost 200 million birds will take flight Saturday night. To help them in their journey, it's advised to consider turning off lights at night. Those lights can confuse and disorient birds and lead to collisions.

Update - LUCIFER ADOPTED

Another sad day in rescue. Although we gave it our all and I truly mean our all. We have maxed out medication options and nothing is working. He can’t handle being on steroids and function. Lucifer was diagnosed this past week with an autoimmune disease that isn’t curable.its been eating his mussels inside out. The steroids and trazadone and gavapentien nothing has been working. He can’t settle he can’t sleep he can’t stop pacing and has become very aggressive and attacking his new sister. We have made the best decision with everything going on and decided he doesn’t have a quality of life and it’s not fare to him to have to live like this. So we have made the decision to humanly euthanize him this Wednesday Sept 3rd at 1pm. We share with you his life for the past 10 months and his friends and the beautiful boy he was and the sweet boy he will be remembered by. It’s not an easy decision but seeing him suffer daily and having no results for his misery. This was the best solution to giving him some relief. RIP 🪦 sweet boy we will surely miss you. 🌈 🐶 

I can’t believe how much him and Cliff looked so much alike. Different personalities good friends and temp siblings to be cousins in the end. All the boys will miss him 😞

Status ADOPTED

Tulip big brown girl 3.5 yrs old and Daisy 3 month old brown and white girl are still looking for their forever home. Both have been vet checked and cleared for adoption.

They will come with whatever food is left they have a full 30lbs bag of food hasn’t been opened yet we have half of another bag we’re still using. whatever hay they have left when adopted

Very friendly have been handled curious about other animals and fine with cats if you have cats that are respectful and can be watched to learn boundaries. Our cats here never bothered them they even slept together at times.

We can give a small cage with them which is what they came in. We have them in a critter pen currently as we didn’t like them confined in small spaces.

They deserve a family that will hold them spend time with them and bring them to their full potential. Being in rescue they only have one another and small amounts of time with interaction as we have a lot of animals in care.
