It's the most wonderful time of the year! 💜

My first-time market in Saskatchewan. I joke this market made me "small town famous". A few times people have come up to me to tell me they remember me at this fair and they love their candles 🥺🔥💜

So, I'm going back!! I can't wait to see you all there!

Spring and Summer are my favourite markets. The weather, the live bands, the food! They are so much fun! I am hoping to do at least one market a month until the end of the year!
I’ve been a little MIA. Popping up a bit here. A bit there… Hopefully more now that the season has turned around and I’ve found my groove in my new ‘career’ role. (But I think we all know E+M is my true career endgame!)

It is a difficult journey to ‘re-start’ your business somewhere else. It takes a consistency and perseverance that I was not able to do. Since the beginning of 2023 E+M had to take a back seat because of our cross country move, my brain tumour diagnosis, subsequent surgery, and the immense amount of healing time required. If you follow my journey on .over.gray.matter I am so grateful to you.

It’s been nearly two years since my diagnosis and I am almost ready to take it on full force. (Hey remember when I was a month out of surgery and still made 120 candles for the winter season?! I needed to do it to prove to myself I still could, but when I think back on it now, what the heck was I thinking?!)

My passion, my love, my candles. It’s been nearly 5 years in business, 4 as a candle company. I would not change a thing!

I love market days! I love seeing the community and some regular faces. Especially those who say "I came here just for you!" 🥺❤️

The number one question I get after all the scent chat is over: "Where are you retailing?"

It's the biggest compliment.

And the answer is, hopefully across Saskatchewan soon! But for now it's just me, my website, and spare room. And of course, amazing markets like this! 🎄

TOMORROW!!!

OKAY YOU GUYS! Sometimes you make me cry in the absolute best way 🥺❤️ These moments and testimonials make it all so so worth it!
This is Pumpkin Delight's first year as an E+M feature. I chose it because it's perfect for ALL season. The pumpkin and spice make it warm, but the apple and vanilla round it out to make it sweet and subtle. Honestly, it's a keeper!

I love when you send me your pictures! 🤍 Seeing how you light up your life, (pun intended), and decorate your space with E+M candles brings me so much joy!!
Festive Eggnog, a top seller for two holiday seasons in a row!

Also in the wise words of my friend/client who took this picture :
"Fire hazard, yes. Worth it, yes" - in regards to taking a picture with her decor. I am assured her candle has returned to a safe place.
But also, when you've been a client long enough you know how passionate I am about candle safety... It's showing! 🤣

OKAY SO I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO SHOCK SOME

AND I KNOW THERE ARE MANY DIE-HARD FANS

BUT WOULD YOU BELIEVE I WASN'T SURE ABOUT BRINGING THIS SCENT ON?!?

My first holiday season I didn't. I thought it would be too sweet.
But my husband said I had to.
(Everyone's scent palette is different and my husband and I are polar opposites! It's actually quite helpful lol.)
So season two I added it to the line.
And I tell you, it's my ABSOLUTE favorite to burn.
The scent throw on this one is so beautiful to both of us. It's probably the one candle we both agree on lol.

This is our evening staple.
