PRECIOUS 2010-2025 ❤

"Our sweet Precious, AKA "Squeaky", crossed over the rainbow bridge on Sunday, September 21, 2025. She had a long and happy life, spending many glorious hours sunning herself by windows and watching the world go by. She was a skilled hunter, catching the stuffed pink mouse on a daily basis, and meowing proudly as she presented it to her humans. She loved chin scratches and ear rubs, as long as they didn't last too long. She took serious offense to head kisses.

She claimed the extra pillow spot on the bed every night, and asked permission with a "pat" before jumping onto laps. Her favorite toy was a simple piece of string, which would induce much craziness and wild scratching on the scratching post. She was a big fan of the Christmas season, thoroughly enjoying the tree and wreaking havoc on unprotected ribbons and bows. She loved boxes – both opened and unopened – and was fond of sitting on clean laundry (never dirty!).

In addition to her humans, she is survived by three feline family members: Elvin, Dusky, and Captain. She is predeceased by her best kitty buddy, Max. In her absence, the pink mouse has been running rampant, often ending up in water dishes; Captain has finally claimed a spot on the bed; and Elvin has happily reestablished herself as the primary lap kitty. Her humans miss her, though. Her pawprints will be forever on their hearts."

Today is Monday September 29th, 2025 - It's the last Monday in September, and today we honor those beloved furry friends who were in our care last week.
We thank our wonderful pet parents for the trust they place in us to care for their loved ones and wish them peace in their hearts as they navigate this difficult time.

"You are gone from our home but not from our hearts. What a sweet girl you have been. Thank you for being our constant companion for the last 10 years. You have been with us during some of our happiest days, and some of the worst when we faced days no parent should ever see. You kept us going even when we didn't think we could. You followed us everywhere, slept between us and watched every bite of food we ate patiently waiting for a taste. Nothing escaped your attention. Thank you for sharing your life with us, being our best friend, really our last child. I hope you are playing on forever with all your furry friends and we will meet again."
