4th of July is almost here.
Our office will be closed the day of 4th of July.
With fireworks can come lots of anxiety for our pets, so sometimes giving them a little something to calm them down is best.
If your little friend will be in need of anxiety medication (Trazadone, Gabapentin, etc.) now is the time to start gathering it!
New Years day and 4th of July are our two busiest days for medication refills so waiting would not be in your favor, and if we have to end up doing a same day fill there would be a rush fee for it.

It's national Microchipping month!
We here at Longwood Animal Hospital always work to help missing fur babies home. Whenever a missing pet is brought to us the first thing we do is check for a microchip. When we find that Microchip number we couldn't be more relieved! When we do not, to be honest friends, it is a heart sinking moment. This small chip is the defining factor between a missing pet staying missing or returning home.
