If you’ve ever stopped by Vanguard Vet, you’ve probably been greeted by our self-appointed receptionist...Van!
Van was rescued after being found hiding under a car hood, and now he’s living his best life as our full-time front desk supervisor. Of our three clinic cats, he’s the only one who loves hanging out up front; you’ll usually find him sitting right by the door, making sure everyone who walks in gets a proper welcome. Don’t worry, he takes his job very seriously…unless it’s nap time.
When he’s not greeting clients, Van likes to “help” the staff with paperwork… which usually means sitting directly on top of our keyboards and refusing to move until he’s gotten enough pets.
So if you see a friendly orange blur lounging at the front desk next time you visit, that’s just Van, doing what he does best: keeping everyone smiling!
