I have been just absolutely DREADING making this post, because I knew it would be the last time Teeth would ever be featured in one after her bath. I’m getting caught back up and truly truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support! I still miss her dearly and think of her every day, but having clients that understand and give me grace is priceless. There very possibly could be duplicates and I’ll be posting the rest for June following this post ❤️‍🩹

And just when I think the clouds are parting, the absolutely unthinkable happens.

Yesterday, my chihuahua was attacked by a neglected, loose dog that is owned by one of my neighbors in the very yard she called home. Never in a million years would I have expected for her to be ripped away from me so violently right in front of her own home. Many of you have seen my girl, Teeth, in my salon with her littermate/sister, Dobby. I, once again, am going to have to ask for your patience with me while we navigate this insanely heavy grief that we are feeling. My heart is absolutely shattered, so I will definitely be moving slower than usual and if I look disheveled, you know why.

I want to thank you all in advance for your kind words in case I don’t get back around to your comments. Your words do not fall upon deaf ears, I’m just not very good at keeping track during times like these. ❤️‍🩹 She really was such a special, silly little girl. As I lay next to her grave typing this, all I can recall are happy memories. We love you so so much, Teeth. You deserved better.

Hello everyone!

Just a quick little PSA. Between juggling a family emergency, legal battles, new foster puppies and a handful of other things, I am running pretty behind on messaging, grooming reports, rescheduling, and pups of the week posts. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about anyone! I appreciate everyone’s patience while I get caught up (hopefully on Monday). You guys, the results are in…And we got THIRD PLACE FOR BEST OF SANTA FE 2026. 🎉🎉🎉 I know it may seem a bit crazy to be so excited for placing third, but I am the only one on this list who is a new business doing this solo outside of city limits (and it isn’t last place 😉).

I cannot believe what has been accomplished in such a short time. I am so very grateful for every single person who voted for me, you guys have no idea how much your support means to me. I owe each and every one of you the biggest thank you for your continued support. 🫂

The fact that I was even NOMINATED for this was an honor in itself, much less getting to stand on the imaginary winner’s stand in third place. Also, we are the ONLY ONES whose business name was featured 3 TIMES in the top 6 for Best of Pets…Although, I technically didn’t quite fit into the other two categories I was nominated for 🤣

P.S. I’m very happy for the other 3 nominees, I’m glad I’ve been correct in recommending you guys to people since I’m not taking new clients. And of course, a very very big congratulations for this year’s winner: Barks & Bubbles!!!! 🐾🫧
