The border collie is a mix of mental and physical energy ready to take on the world! Yes, they are one of the most intelligent and obedient of breeds, but can be a wreck of a house dog if it is not given a challenging job every day. Given plenty of exercise, it is a dependable and loving companion. If you cannot spend a large amount of time training and exercising your BC, both physically and mentally – then don't get a Border Collie.
