Labrador Friends of the South, Inc. Labrador Friends of the South (LFS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless Labrador Retrievers. Thank you.~

We are based out of ATLANTA, GA. LFS relies solely on donations, fund-raising events and adoption fees to function and continue saving and placing homeless Labradors. We do not receive any state or federal funding. LFS is an all volunteer organization of people who give their time, effort, and love for labs to protect and save them from the perils of pet over-population and irresponsible pet owner

ship. Our ultimate goal is to help these dogs find new, loving, forever homes.

We were so relieved to get an update that our 2 parvo boys are doing much better! Miller was released from intensive care this evening! His brother was a little worse but the odds are looking good!

‼️HELP US HELP THESE BABIES ‼️
We had someone reach out this weekend, asking if we were able to help 3 dumped puppies. After making room for these babies this morning we learned that the 3rd puppy had passed away last night.

We immediately tested the other two and they are both a strong positive for parvo and severe intestinal parasites/fleas. It’s has been touch and go since the moment they were brought to our vet. Their bills so far are close to $3,200. We are doing everything we can to give them a chance. Please help by donating or sharing!

🐾 Foster Update on Benny 🐾
Unfortunately, a couple forever families fell through for Benny this weekend. BUT, we are excited to say that we were able to get Benny into a foster home! He is finally eating again and has turned into the happiest boy!

Benny has had a great first day and night in his foster home. Turns out he just needed a home and pack to come out of his shell. He has finally started eating, going potty outside, has been great with the other dogs, has been exploring and starting to show his playful and silly side, and has been my shadow and loves to lay next to me wherever I go.
