😻🐾 What Is Your Cat Really Saying with Those Purrs and Cuddles? 🐾😻

We all love when our cats snuggle up and start purring—but did you know those sweet behaviors can sometimes be signs of something more?

Cats are masters at hiding pain or illness. Sometimes:
• Purring = self-soothing when they’re not feeling well
• Extra cuddly = a sign they’re seeking comfort
• Hiding or sudden clinginess = red flag for possible health concerns

If your normally independent cat has suddenly become extra cuddly or is acting “just a little off,” don’t ignore it. These subtle changes can be their way of telling you they need help.

☀️🐾 Hot Days = Thirsty Pets! 🐾☀️

As summer heats up, don’t forget—your furry friends feel the heat too! 😓🐶🐱

💧 Make sure your pet’s water bowl is always full of cool, fresh water—especially after outdoor playtime or walks.

🌡️ Avoid midday heat, stick to early morning or evening strolls, and never leave pets in parked cars (even for a minute!).

A hydrated pet is a happy pet! 💙

🐾 Pet Safety Tips for the 4th:
• Keep pets indoors during fireworks – loud noises can be scary!
• Create a cozy space with their favorite blanket or toy 🧸
• Make sure ID tags and microchips are up to date
• Skip sharing people food – especially BBQ bones, chocolate, and alcohol! 🚫

🚧 **Road Closure Alert – Plan Ahead!** 🚧

Just a heads up! The **bridge on Diamond Hill Road will be CLOSED from June 20th through June 23rd** for construction.

Please plan ahead, seek alternate routes, and give yourself a little extra travel time to make it to your appointment on time. We want to make sure your visit goes smoothly!
