Hi RR's Family,
Here's the UPDATE! I'm going to be working a lot of different jobs to be able to accommodate all the things so as it stands now. I am so glad to be back to critter life in some capacity! ❤️
If overnights are wanted generally I can accommodate them from Thurs evening-Tues early morning so feel free to ask from now forward notice is going to be important as if I'm not booked I'm going to work otherwise. Visits I can accommodate early mornings and evenings like before more than likely if I'm not on overnights I'll be working somewhere so middle of the days are unlikely.
I plan to be house cleaning for a company Tues-Thurs (8-5 generally), the wedding venue on Sundays (generally 11-2), and working at a pet urgent care as needed so my communication might be a little more stunted at times as I'm going to be a busy bee but am over joyed to have a tiny glimmer of hope that my puzzle might be coming together with you guys included! See you all soon! I am so grateful for you all my tribe is the absolute best and I never forget it. Thank you!

Hi RR's Family,
Welp I guess I overestimated my ability to be an old dog new tricks example. I was honest about my abilities or lack thereof but apparently that place of work wasn't for me.
I had started to have all of you reach out and reconnect and schedule services within my restrictions and I fully intend and look forward to honoring them. I need my RR's family and care too much and feel too passionate about you I will not give you up again. Just not sure after this emotional/confidence hit which direction to fight forward in. I will be my reliable self and just need to figure out how to bridge the financial gaps to keep going, please bear with me as you always do.
Special thanks to so many of you in being such a support in my continuous struggles but always truly understanding that despite my shortcomings how much I care.
The pics are Marty the magnificent a long time friend who has been extra accepting of my love and pets this time he has truly anchored me this weekend.

Hi RR's Family!
I realized I took one pic at the clinic so far this week and it wasn't even a quality pic lol shame on me. Though to be clear I won't be posting anything but clinic kitties. That's Marge a clinic kitty, we have 2 feline staff members.
I just wanted to update you on what things look like as I adjust. So my schedule is going to be 7am-5pm with Thurs, Sat and Sun off. Will still absolutely be doing my wedding venue job on Sundays again as well. So my visits will be painfully early on timing specific visits and twice a day visits but also this is why overnights aren't going to be regularly offered as that timing is just not very doable with feeling like I'm providing quality care and I also don't often feel comfortable sharing care but If you need Fri night- early Monday feel free to ask as I'd love weekend snuggles. My overnight recommendation is still Magic of Paws. But I am absolutely willing/able/begging to do visits before and after work and on my days off. 😊 My contract is still in effect as far as prices, policies ect. Any questions feel free to reach out. I cannot wait to see all my RR's family and thank you for receiving me back with such gusto already. I missed you!

Already back to critter life! Went to Mr. Drew's and was fascinated wow the staff was so patient and knowledgeable and the enclosures were so clean and full of enrichment and hidey holes. Watching kiddos enjoy them was pretty neat too.
I am officially back on Riley's Rascals duty and vet assisting focused life! I missed you more than I could ever tell you!

Hi RR's Family,
We ready for mud season I mean spring? Pretend spring, 2nd spring? Oh Mother Nature! The irony that I can't do plants but I realize I am a complicated house plant when those sunny days appear and I stretch toward the sun as much as possible plus always with my emotional support water bottle. 🤣
Alright so put in my notice at the PO so soon will be back with the fur kids where I belong but hold on just a tad longer as I readjust to a better path 🤞
I will be unpausing the biz and will be happy to do visits with all my favs! However overnights are not going to be a regular thing anymore as I'll be working 10 hour shifts in Scarborough and my favorite pupperinos that's waaaayyy too long. I miss you so darn much and I absolutely need you all. I cannot wait to see you all and most of all your critters. It's been an impossible 5 months and my heart needs you.

Listen 🎶have I told you lately that I ❤️ you? That there is no one else above you? 🎵I know I haven't posted much because truth is I'm a mess and not doing well. Post office life is not for me but I've still been working a crazy amount also. So the search is on for another gig that 1. Is closer to you all. 2. I might be able to at least do visits on top of. 3. Might have to puzzle piece multiple things together to keep my head above water financially but I need you!
So I'm coming back in some capacity just not sure what that looks like yet. So hold tight and know that I miss you, your critters, your homes, my business so very much. I can't live without it.

Hi RR's Family!
First I flipping miss you! Your critters completely kept me grounded. Please know each one of them is missed deeply in their own unique way. I miss my former life so much. I have met a few critters in passing but it's not the same. Anyone need a Christmas animal snuggle? would be good for me to do my normal thing on a not so favorite holiday. I'm doing better in my new life but definitely not my favorite. You guys are my favorite. Sending you Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah wishes and the best 2026 we can ask for. Tell your pups I said hi and your kitties I chirp with love.

Hi RR's Family,
I'm still kicking after a week of full time hours M-Wed training in Bath and Thurs-Today in Boothbay Harbor I'm going to say like everything I've experienced relating to Boothbay, it's tough! I didn't know how much my brain would have to work. I definitely bit off more than I could chew so far and absolutely feel like I've lost all of my identity, motivation and everything that feels like me but get to be myself this week I'm going to visit as many as will let me and I have time for this week because I'm lost without ya, truly. I'm still pretty defeated this had to be done. Know that each one of your kiddos the fur kind are thought about constantly. I got a few dog kisses today as I was struggling and it felt so renewing. Much love to your pets, and your mail carriers kindly ask: light up your houses like it's a stadium this time of year, take care of your steps, be patient, put up house numbers so obnoxiously....

I miss you! I'm so grateful for you all! Tell your kitties and pups I said hi and I love them. Happiest of holidays! ❤️

Hi RR's Family,
My 1st official week not as Riley's Rascals was full of grief, change, uncertainty and ups and downs. Swearing in to the Post Office was a very unique feeling. All the changes and decisions are super uncomfortable. One minute I feel hopeful of a more stable future and the next all I want to do if ask to come cuddle all of the pets and take it all back. I did get over a big uncomfortable obstacle in that I am officially allowed to drive both mail vehicles my office has so that was a huge win. I'm really having a hard time being with any of you or anyone who truly knows me so I will visit but hopefully when I'm a little more capable of less tears. I hope your first week was smooth and my "replacements" was a smooth transition. I miss every tail wag and chirp and purr and happy noise I got already. ❤️

I have been dreading my favorite day of the year for a month now but here it is. So doing one of my ridiculous therapeutic activities. I live to dance...so here's my see you later for those not seeing me today! Enjoy my ridiculous and know I'm gonna be so darn sad so a crying unicorn is much cooler than just crying right? Make sure you notice the tail it's the best part of unicorn life in my opinion. Off to my walks! Hugs, sugar, tissues and love appreciated today! May we be as kind to the ugly, weird, and different on other days as we are today!
I appreciate you guys so much. I will be asking for visits, I love your families big big big! Happy spooky day keep the furkids safe today and yourselves and kiddos safe too.
