Hey y’all,
Sorry for my month long hiatus but I thought I’d give a quick update to anyone who was interested, currently I have 13 snakes left with none testing positive as of now. As of now I’m still just trying to go with the flow and see what happens - I am still going to be looking for pet only homes but probably only in a few weeks because I want to do it properly and I don’t have time to interview people at the current moment with finals coming up soon (why does calculus have to be a thing 🥲) Anyhow here’s the current list of snakes that I’ve got left, I still suspect my Mexican hognose female is gravid so also trying to decide what to do with her eggs should they be fertile. Anyhow thanks to all of you guys who checked in on me - I’m still pretty active here just not with positing much because I can’t take out the snakes much.

Females: 1 ppa1 het Ppa 1 paradox albino conda 1 mexican hognose 1 bullsnake 1 mystery Female (probably purple line)

Currently not handling any of the snakes until their tubs etc are properly cleaned (aka tomorrow) so here’s a picture of Ms Tagliatelle that I never posted. It is likely that in the next month she will come back positive for crypto because she was paired with an infected male but 🤞 she didn’t

For anyone who is following along - these are the current test results as of yesterday for my collection. Currently there are 4 positives (✅) and several others who have situations where they could have been exposed and may be falsely testing negative/swabs samples weren’t accurate (⚠️). Luckily there were not as many positives as I thought 🙌
Sadly all positives will be euthanized and the collection will be retested frequently over the next 9 months and even following then - hopefully the rest continue to stay negative. Thank you all for the support and for all of the people who reached out and offered to help, hopefully we will be able to bounce back and be stronger than ever.

This super pretty gal was actually a pick up from the reptile super show about a month ago but I was waiting for her to settle in before taking her out for photos! She is a mystery gal with unknown hets so I’ll be testing her to a male with a few hets this season 🤩
