In 2011 I started an amazing journey with a horse named R Quiet Riot. He really started all of this. I found the OTTB's were the most amazing horses and hope to give many of them second chances in the future. When I talk about pedigree matters .. this doe is a great example of that. Almost all of my alpine does go back to this single amazing girl ! I am so proud and so blessed to have such an amazing start in this breed !

As prices continue to rise and even the basic foods are becoming extra pricey .. I am so thankful for what God and some hard work has blessed me with. Amazing gardens, fabulous fruit trees, fresh milk and eggs and this summer raw honey from our own hives . Food does not have to come from the grocery store!

Lots of amazing things going on on the farm ! First baby Frank.. the goat guardian is almost ready to make the trip here ! Next it’s getting jam season and I can’t wait to be able to offer fresh chèvre with some yummy homemade jam! We are in the process of transitioning to a dairy so lots of new projects are starting up.. including a commercial kitchen for the cheese !

Local farms like yours who dedicate themselves to providing fresh produce to their community are so amazing! The benefits of eating locally grown food over food from industrial farms are innumerable.
