I had so much fun recently with this sweet girl. Dipper, who is a mix, has two kitty 🐈‍⬛🐈 friends at home and she LOVES her sniff time outside. After a nice walk, she appreciates curling up on the couch 🛋️ next to the human or sprawling out on the floor for a pup nap. If the human stops petting her while resting, she immediately turns to look and related more pets - adorable girl 🥰

All my clients’ pets are my very favorites 🤩, including Wylie. This GSD mix is one of the very sweetest babes I’ve ever known, and I just love when I get to stay with him while his human is away. He loves his human SO MUCH 😍 and needs extra love and cuddles, because he gets sad when his human is away. Have you ever seen a better sploot than Wylie’s? What a precious pup ❤️

I was so happy when Rosie’s human reached out recently for a daycare session. Rosie, who is a Chihuahua/Dachsund rescue pup, really hit the jackpot 🎰 when she found her human last year. Rosie’s human has made sure to establish a relationship for Rosie with me and with my home 🏠 , which really limits stress for all involved - especially Rosie!

Rosie had an injury when I first met her last year, so she needed to take it easy and was still gaining her confidence. Now, nearly a year later, I’m watching her run around with a huge smile, initiate play with my dog, and perform the fastest “down” cue around! After all that, she is so happy to curl up in your lap and take a nap 😴 . What a girl!

Recently I had the good fortune 🔮 of pup-sitting for some new friends named Ray (Lab mix) and Hugo (Aussie mix). These two are full of energy ⚡️, yet have had such great guidance from their hoomans, that they are very good at reigning it in to follow cues from me when in my care. Hugo is always rolling around on his back being silly 🤪 , and Ray is a cuddle bug for movie 🍿 watching. Truly some of the sweetest pups, I’m so happy we have some future plans together.

Whew! Life has been a bit of a whirlwind after the human (me, Mel) started a new full-time gig in May and then made the heartbreaking 💔 decision to transition one of our household’s senior kitties from his physical life after 19 years well-lived.

Pet care services have been back in full swing lately! How cool to be with on her big day recently as her wedding attendant! She not only did a fabulous job as ring bearer, she even made sure to say “I do” when her humans did! 💍

Times have been busy! How much energy is at my house this week?? How about two shepherds (an Aussie and a GSD mix) between ages 1 and 2 🤣. Does it really get more fun (and CUTE) than these two together?

Gaia is having a blast hosting her new friend, Georgie this week while her hooman is traveling - she’s so helpful showing other dogs the ropes around the house.

March 16-22 is Pet Poison Prevention Week ☠️. We all know how curious our sweet pets can be, and how that curiosity can quickly get them into a little trouble 🙃. This coming week, let's all take inventory of any hazards around our own homes that could get our pets into BIG trouble.

Keep medicines💊 out of reach and locked up; add child safety latches to drawers or cabinets containing harmful products.

Know what ingredients and foods 🍇 are toxic for your pet.

Remove detergent or drain cleaning products from under sink🚰 cabinets.

Keep personal care products 🧴 (hairspray, make-up, mouthwash, perfumes) out of reach.

Keep alcoholic beverages, ashtrays, and plants 🪴out of reach; watch for peeling paint and repair if needed.

Keep bug spray, w**d killers, gasoline, oil, paint 🎨in secure areas.

I’m having the best time spending my week 🗓️ with Wylie, the sweetest 🥹 GSD/Dachshund mix around! A person can tell a lot about how a dog is feeling by their ears, and Wylie has very prominent feeling detector ears to communicate with. Between yard sniffing/enrichment activities 🎾, zoomies and belly scratches, we are getting quality cuddle and couch 🛋️ time in together.
