Some of today's happy faces for a partial pet sitting client. They just needed someone for a few hours for their 5 dogs.
My Christmas week is full but I have other dates available, if you need pet sitting nows the time to book it.
There is no extra charge for multiple dogs either.

Day rate: $25 up to 6 hours of care
Overnight rates : $55 i can stay at your place or your pets can come to my place depending on temperament.

We also offer livestock and exotic care as well.
Referrals from existing clients get a 10% discount on services.

Today Lucky got to be off leash for the first time ever. Many of luckys behaviors are related to improper Socialization when he was younger and are fear based. He will never be an outgoing dog but he can be a confident dog! We've been working on confidence building exercises to help him and he has improved greatly.
He walked past a bike today (one of his big fears) and a man with a hat and did wonderfully, he didn't even tuck his tail.
He was a little too nervous to fully appreciate the fenced in space but he will get there.

Lucky had his 3rd session this week and had another assessment done away from the home and his owner.
I was told he is aggressive and doesn't like men or other dogs. Turns out Lucky's behaviors are fear based, he was never socialized as a puppy so everything is new and scary to him. So we took a walk on the trails with a long line and let Lucky explore. Small sounds like twigs snapping and brushing again palm fronds would make him jump and the hair on his back stand up.
By the end of our walk Lucky was much more relaxed and calm, he approached a man (my partner) and even allowed pets and took a treat from him.
In just 3 sessions Lucky has already learned to walk on a loose leash, has improved his recall and even walked calmly past stange dogs. He wants to learn and to please so much.
He still has a ways to go but he's making excellent progress.
Allowing him to choose the path and navigate the obstacles himself helps to build his confidence as well.

This is Lucky, he started training today and is already doing well.
His mom got him started right with basic commands he just needs some basic manners and some fine tuning as far as walking on the leash as well in being challenged more mentally vs physically.
At the end of our session today we just about got to the point where he would walk loose on the leash and responded well to minimal corrections.
His owner is very excited with the progress we've already made with this boy.

Current 2024 price list and yes this does include Cats as well. Remember books open for new clients in 5 weeks.

Nail trims:

$15 Small dogs $25 Large dogs
Cats $15 all sizes

Grooming:

Wash & Dry

$35 small dogs $65 large dogs

Cats $55 if you want your cat shaved prices vary by size and cats behavior/temperament.

A**l gland expression:

$25 small dogs $35 large dogs

Daycare and Boarding:
All day $30 6am-6pm

Overnight $45 per night at my home
$55 per night at your home

Drop-ins:

$25 per visit this can include administering meds if needed, short walks, letting dogs
out for potty breaks. If outside my usual service area a $5 travel fee will be added.

Adventure Walks - this is a 1.5 to 2 hour walk where we utilize local parks and trails
to give your dog a change of scenery and engage them mentally with different sights,
sounds and smells. Price varies on location and needs of the dog.
$35-45 per walk

I Will be taking on new clients in 6 weeks, if anyone is thinking about getting affordable in home training now is the time to contact me.
Existing clients get first dibs for continued training at the old rates.
I will be posting a basic price list but remember I'm here to help the dog so I will always work within your budget or work a barter deal etc when needed.
