It’s season. The green are wild from around the orchard and the purple ones are from my home . If you’re out looking for also keep an eye out for asparagus spears some of them have started to leaf out, but the picking is still good.

Orchard was in full bloom this morning when I pulled up. I’ve been working on restoring some of these trees on this old orchard for just over a year. Let’s hope🤞for a fantastic September harvest.

Planning on harvesting some amazing roadside melons, tomatoes, peppers and sweet corn back here. Don’t quit the house just yet! I am still a no till nerd, but I’m trying something that is new to me, to transition this field to organic. Eventually this will become a light till field, that grows its own straw mulch.

The prairie was long over due and now maybe I can find my keys! All jokes aside if you saw it, and how couldn’t you 🔥 the control burn at the farm yesterday was pretty amazing. Was glad to get a private showing.
