With the Holidays approaching, now more than ever we are called to help those in need. Many pet owners are struggling to feed their pets, and either surrender or set them loose to fend for themselves. We offer an alternative, and help keep loving pet families together at the Winfield Pet Pantry! If you know of someone in need, pass along our information. Good morning everyone!!! Finally we have some snow ⛄️ ❄️ yea 😁 or nay 👎
Whatever it’s, I hope you all will have a great Sunday!!
As you all remember, last year we started our work on Pet Food Pantry!!! With all the holidays we weren’t able to do much about our food pantry for pets, but finally we are catching up on this project. So, you all are probably wondering, what’s new?!?!
Well… few things, first of all, we are in a progress of setting up a room at Cross of Christ Lutheran Crown Point Indiana where we will have few shelves to put all pet food, it will be our official location!!
- second, we created page, where will be posting our progress and general info, please like, share our page!!!
- third of all, we are planning a soft opening on Saturday, February 3rd, 9am until 11am, and we would love to meet all families that are in need of pet food, please come by and share your stories with us!!
- fourth of all, we are working to create a files where we would love to gather information about all those in need, we won’t ask about anything personal, we just need to know how much pet food we will need in order to serve our community;
And most of all, if you are interested in volunteering or helping us, please reach out to me or pastor Tam! If you are a business owner and would like to join us, please contact us also, we are looking for any help: building materials and paints so we can create more pet food pantries in the future, if you would like to have one by your business, please let us know also! If you would like to help us during our soft opening, please come, talk to us, if you have ideas, please share, we are always open to new ventures!
Together we can make a difference!! We really want this to become more of community project and we want all of you to join us on this journey!!! Our main goal is to help those in our community, who can’t afford feed their pets, we also want to help local shelters and rescue groups!!!
