I just want to thank everyone for their patience as I work through a bit of a backlog. I’m getting caught up, and things are moving forward! This delay was due to a big transition, as many of you know-moving to a new property and relocating my business into a new shop that I'm renovating, all during hunting season!🙃🤪

I also want to say how incredibly grateful I am. I never would have imagined I'd be doing what I love-not just as a hobby, but as a living. That's because of all of my new and returning customers, and the support you've shown me along the way. And a HUGE thank you to everyone who has played a role in getting my new shop up and running🙏 None of this would be possible without any of you.. Thank you to the patient individuals who played phone tag with me this season. (I still do not have cell service, my phone doesn't have the fancy wifi calling and I haven't broken down and bought an iphone🙈) Another fall has passed, I've heard so many great hunting stories again and I've gotten to meet more amazing people that share my love for the outdoors. Excited for whats ahead!

I've been blessed to work on some incredible deer for some incredible people. Another one that went home earlier this week.

"I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on the tombstone
from the beginning to the end.

He noted first came the date of the birth
and spoke the following date with tears.
But he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
that they spent life on Earth.
And now only those who loved them
know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not how much we own,
the cars, the house, the cash.
What matters is how we live and love,
and how we spend our dash.

So, think about this long and hard.
Are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
to consider what’s true and real,
and always try to understand
the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger,
and show appreciation more,
and love the people in our lives
like we’ve never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
and more often wear a smile,
remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy is being read
with your life’s actions to rehash,
would you be proud of the things they say
about how you spent your dash?"
