Does anyone have a cat on urinary food?

We got the last 3 barn cats out of the shelter and off to hunt mice as barn cats!!
We have one barn kitten that doesnt want to be people handled that could go to a barn.

Sleepy little Pint. This girl was found at a brewery. She was shy at first but she does like butt scratches and gets along with cats and well behaved dogs. Oh...her tail? Noticed that little worm tail?
She began to stress groom her tail until she ripped all the hair out. She is no longer stress grooong but the hair hasn't grown back yet.
Pint is available for adoption!

We had quite a few adoptions this week and those adoption donations will go towards fixing this week's kittens who are lining up for their spay/neuter day this tuesday.

We want to thank one of our fosters for her help trapping cats at a local business this weekend. Amanda checked traps, set traps and transported the cats to the holding location.

We also received a generous donation (thank you Kari and Ron L) for the cats that will go straight into this week's run!

And finally 4 more barn cats found jobs on a farm this week and got sprung from the shelter.
Its so wonderful to have an animal shelter that works hard for the animals in our community and we are so proud to work with the Cumberland County Animal Shelter - Crossville, TN

Mom and seven kittens just came into rescue on Friday. Mom is overwhelmed. The kittens are eating wet food so it allows us to give Mom time away from them. They swarm her like a hive of bees.

Last week we were contacted about doing a write up on our barn cat program. This is the article!
This program has been running for over 10 years and we are so pleased at our cooperative relationship with our local shelter.

Rather than euthanizing them because they aren’t the perfect “pet,” barn programs are giving strays and shelter cats a second chance at life.
