🌼 Is Your Pet Itchy, Scratchy, or Sneezing? It Could Be Allergies! 🐶🐱

Just like humans, our furry friends can suffer from allergies too — and fall is a common trigger season! 🍂

🔍 Signs Your Dog or Cat May Have Allergies:

Constant scratching or licking 🐾

Red, inflamed skin or ears

Hair loss or hot spots

Sneezing, coughing, or watery eyes

Recurring ear or skin infections

🐕 Dogs are often allergic to:

Pollen, dust mites, or mold

Certain foods (like chicken or beef)

Fleas and flea saliva

🐈 Cats can react to:

Environmental allergens like dust or grass

Fleas (even one bite can trigger a reaction!)

Certain proteins in their diet

💡 The good news? We can help! Whether it’s through special diets, flea control, allergy testing, or medication — our team is here to get your pet feeling better fast.

🍽️ How Many Calories Should Your Pet Be Eating? 🐶🐱

Great question — and the answer isn’t one-size-fits-all! Just like people, pets have individual needs based on:

✔️ Age
✔️ Weight
✔️ Activity level
✔️ Breed
✔️ Health conditions (like thyroid issues or arthritis)

⚠️ Overfeeding (even just by a little) can lead to weight gain, which increases the risk of diabetes, joint pain, and heart disease.
Underfeeding can also cause health issues.
🩺 A healthy weight = a longer, happier life!

Are you filling your pet's bowl properly? Ask for a nutritional assessment at your pet's next wellness appointment! Our team is happy to help you determine the right meal portion.
