****MISSING/STOLEN HORSE****

Last seen in her pasture in Grandview TN located between Doc Loy RD and HWY 68 The evening of 10/17/2026. Was missing following morning. Pasture, ponds, and surrounding area searched extensively on foot and horseback with no signs of her. Did a daytime drone search and a thermal drone search covering over a square mile again with no signs of her. Her 6 pasture mates where safe in their pasture, only she is missing. She is low on her heards pecking order and has never been known to get out or venture out of eyesight of her other pasture mates.

Police reports have been filed with the RHEA County Sheriff's department and the TM Department of Agricultures crime unit.

She is approximately 16.2 Hands High, 1000-1200LBS
Dark Chestnut Saddlebred Mare. Four white socks and white blaze with connecting star and snip on her face, she's very sweet but typically stand offish to strangers.

This is Axle. (Nyx's special surprise born 08/11/2026)

Nyx is a BLM Mustang with a lot of Spanish blood. Her movement and confirmation show a lot of those Spanish traits which she's passed down to this c**t.
Maximus is the sire of this c**t. He's 100% Quarter Horse.

Yet this c**t is Gaited.
Some Mustangs that have a lot of the bloodlines that come from the Spanish horses originally brought to the US carry the gaited Gene often semi recessively.
Nyx shows a lot of those characteristics thou she doesn't fully gait herself...

No typically we do not condone breeding mustangs unless there is some crazy special reason often to continue specific bloodlines. This one wasn't necessarily one of those reasons. NYX was bred due to our own reasons of having a deep personal bond with her and wanting a foal from her before she's too old. That way we have one to stay with us long after she's gone.

Nyx is a Mustang with High Spanish blood which she likes to show off when she's in her pasture.
Max is a full blooded Quarter Horse.
