Usually my friends/clients only txt. But when one calls you, it’s either good news or bad news. Unfortunately this call was bad news. Bijaa taught both my girls to love horses. He and I had conversations. He loved to turn my dark clothes esp hoodies white (even though he refused to stay white and roll in the dirt all of the time). He also love to nuzzle me when his snoot was good dirty. Today was unexpected and I cried with his owner but he’s not in pain and with Abby and Oliver and having all the grass he could ever need.

Another dozen kittens in the last week, including the 5 bottle babies below.....I have lost count, to be honest - somewhere between 30 and 40 for the season so far!

Would you boop this cute snoot?! I definitely did. I not only dog the typical pets (cats, dogs, fish, birds) but also farm animals. I go all the way around Apple Pie Ridge Road to Berkeley Springs then out to BMR and Shawnee Land. Got a farm? I do those also!

Good afternoon. Hoping everyone is coping with snow that has decided not to leave and become ice instead. I wanted to let everyone know I will be close March 5-14th due to be out of town. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year!
I want to start off by thanking everyone for your continued support of my business and my family. Without each and every one of you, the past nearly 6 years wouldn't be as successful. I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know a couple of new things that will be changing in 2026.

- The first is check-ins: A lot of other pet sitters only send pictures and updates as the client requests. Most of you have cameras inside and outside of the home. I will begin sending pictures as requested. Updates during away visits and over nights will become once a day. If you would still like daily pictures and updates for both drop in or vacation visits we can talk about it. I wanted to make everyone aware of this new change in the new year.

My rates will stay the same, however there will be some changes with billing.

- Overnight rates will remain the same for every 24hrs, however they will include breakfast, dinner, and of course bed. If you want to add an additional mid day drop in that would be an additional fee, the same as a regular drop in or daily walk. As an example: The overnight rate: $75.00 would include a drop in for the time I start, dinner, bed, breakfast the next day, plus $20 for a mid day drop in if wanted before the dinner time visit.

- Drop in prices will remain the same as well. Either one drop in or two drop ins on the same day.

If you have already booked me or book before January 31, 2026 for your 2026 vacations, the new pricing will not affect you at all for the already scheduled sitting jobs.

Another thing will be contracts. If for some reason you have not filled out a questionnaire form and signed the contract, both of these things must be done before I start services for your pet. Payments will still be the same types: Cash, Venmo, Paypal (friends and family) and check. If you need a payment plan that will need to be agreed on by both parties and in writing.

Every pet and their humans are special to myself and in turn my family. Thank you so much. As always if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me and I look forward to taking care of your pets.

I was crazy business on Thursday so I did t get to post. I’m so thankful for every one of my clients for the business I’ve built. I’m also thankful for all the people who have shared my information with their friends and family! On Thursday I got to spend Thanksgiving with not only my family but so many fur babies. Thank you everyone for trusting me with your pets.

Update: 11/21 our amazing volunteer dug him out of a gopher hole, assisted by the fantastic resident!!! Bones is now safe at the emergency vet❤️‍🩹 He is a young guy with the will to live for sure so we are desperately hoping his leg can be amputated. Talking to several folks in the neighborhood, he's been like this for a least a few days now. And from the smell we know he has necrotic tissue 🥺 Please send every ounce of healing energy to Bones, he needs it💜 And please continue to donate. We'll fight for him as long as he tells us he wants to live💪

Update: 11/21 8:15 am
We were not able to get him last night despite volunteers staying as close to the property as legally allowed hoping he would pop out of the backyard. BUT we just got a call and he's under the porch of another person allowing us on his property so volunteers are headed there now 🤞🤞🤞

‼️ Emergency‼️
We're going to do something we never do. We hardly ever post for emergency vet care to raise funds and we NEVER do before we actually have the cat secured in our care. However, this is an extreme case. We have volunteers on site try to safely get a SEVERELY injured cat in Martinsburg, WV. I will post his picture without markups in the comment but with a TRIGGER WARNING. DO NOT GO TO THE COMMENTS IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE IT.

We know his location but are having trouble getting homeowners to agree to let us come onto the property to help him. Volunteers have a trap set nearby and are on standby waiting for an opportunity to get him.

We have already called Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center in anticipation of being able to safely get him and they are expecting him. He will all need extensive emergency care, including a minimum a full leg amputation. We are going to post a fundraiser for him now in hopes that we get him very very soon. If for some reason we are not able to capture him, which would absolutely devastate us, the funds raised in this post will go toward our outstanding bill at the ER. We just want to be sure you know your donations will not be wasted no matter what happens. If you're able to help please do.
