Here’s some helpful tips from the ASPCA to keep your pets healthy and safe over !

And remember, make sure they’re wearing an ID tag or microchip with current contact info (ideally both), that gates and doors are kept closed, and that they have a safe, secure, quiet indoor spot, if there will be fireworks near you. (Closed curtains and background noise like a tv can also help, along with vet-prescribed anxiety meds). According to one report, the day after Memorial Day is the biggest day for stray intake at shelters nationwide. Don’t let your pet become a statistic!)
