Got some sad news yesterday. We have decided to keep one pup from this past Tank x Rosa litter, this little boy we call Scout. Scout went to the vet for his Rabies shot and a well check before he can get neutered. We discovered he has a crypt orchid. Long term, left in tact as a male, this would be devastating. It's not a huge deal since we planned to fix him anyway, just means the possibility of a more extensive surgery. Not worried about Scout, but the sad part is where he got it. Crypt orchid is a genetic disorder passed down from the Sire, which means he got it from Tank. I can't, in good conscience, continue breeding Tank knowing he is passing down a disorder, he must get neutered. 😢
Tank goes under the knife on Monday, please pray for a safe and easy procedure.
