National Puppy Day
We added a Golden Retriever puppy to our family last summer-Yukon Gold Wabash Charlie.

I was only supposed to stay until May of 2016. I only work part time but I still enjoy taking care of pets. Bernie and Alecia are there full time and are great at helping care for all of the patients and keeping things running as smoothly as possible.

Jackson would have been 10 years old on May 31. We miss him everyday.

We had to say goodbye to Jackson last week. It was so hard. He developed a splenic tumor in February. He had surgery followed by chemotherapy. Jackson was so brave. We spoiled him with all of his favorite foods and toys. A friend shared a phrase from Winnie the Pooh that sums up how we feel - " How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." It didn't make it ant easier to say goodbye, but it helps to ease the heartache. Jackson was one of a kind!
