Many of you may see a recall notice for Blue Ridge Beef (raw) on the Natural Mix. Just wanted to let you know that our product is not included in this recall. Blue Ridge Beef has two processing facilities, one in NC and one in Atlanta, GA. The Atlanta facility uses a method of “High Pressure Pasturization (HPP) which eradicates the potential of Salmonella contamination. We do not get any of the NC products in our store.
Again, They have two facilities. One in Atlanta one in NC. All of ours comes from Atlanta. The facility in Atlanta does HPP and the NC one does not have HPP. Our products are not affected by this recall notice.
Here is the notice if you need it:

More than 5,000 lbs of pet food recalled due to Salmonella risk.

The recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration.
