🗺️ Trail riding - 1–3 mile loops, moderate hills, cattle, and beautiful views.

I don’t offer package deals often… But sometimes I make questionable decisions that lead to additional expenses — like taking in an ancient rescue horse from SoCal named “Brownie.” It was a gamble, buying him sight unseen in the hopes of having another walk/jog kids horse. What I found when I got down there was skin and bones, locked in a dog kennel with no feed or water, just 1 day shy of a trip to the sale barn… that coincidentally was located on the same block he’d been living on.
Obviously he’s going to need quite a bit of TLC to get him sound and healthy again (primarily dental work and x-rays to decide on injections or Adequan), but he’s already made leaps of progress in weight gain and mobility! His body reflects years of hard work, but he has the bright eye and temperament of a horse that was once very loved and respected. Even if he’s never a riding horse again, he’s earned a soft landing. Meanwhile, it’s just rewarding watching his body heal, and I look forward to sharing his progress!
