Would you like to spend some time with horses (and mules and donkeys and goats and cows and a camel)?

I am launching a new volunteer program at West Elk Equine! Starting Saturday the 12th at 10am and taking place every other Saturday there after. Regular attendance is not a requirement, but you must be over the age of 18 or accompanied by an adult who is.

This is going to be as new for me as it will be for you so we will learn and grow together, but my goal is to educate and give individuals the opportunity to benefit from all these Devine creatures have to offer.

We will spend time doing things like brushing, handling foals, obsevering aspects of breeding and helping with other simple tasks around the ranch. Plus, it’s baby season so we will get to experience the joys of all the new life that is about to join us!

Please remember to clean up your pet’s p**p on the trails! This keeps your community’s trails clean and not to mention the dogs of your community clean and healthy while out on the trails. Only one of these bags came from our pack walk today and there was more to clean up before we ran out of bags. Please help our community by cleaning up after your pets, and others if you see it on the trails!

Our New Kennels have Arrived! 10 Kennels in total that can open into 5 giants if/when needed. We can sleep 10 single dogs, 10 pairs, multiple triples and all sorts of combinations there of! Big and Small, we take them all!

Pet au Pairs is Hiring!

Position: Full Time Doggy Caregiver. MUST LOVE DOGS!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing and entertaining dogs in the daycare, receiving clients at pickup and drop of, taking dogs on hikes, bathing daycare dogs upon request, feeding dogs, cleaning up after dogs, laundry, kennel cleaning, light facilities cleaning, answering the phone, checking dogs in and out in the computer, picking up and dropping off dogs as needed can use company vehicles), PLAYING WITH DOGS AND HAVING FUN.

Ideal candidate will be a responsible, reliable, self starter who will be a team player and take pride in being part of the Pet au Pairs Organization.
