Paradise Animal Welfare Society - PAWS The Paradise Animal Welfare Society caters to the needs of animals in Crested Butte, Colorado, north Lost animals will be announced on the KBUT radio station.

Animal Rescue ~ If you find an abandoned, abused, or neglected animal, please call the local marshal's office at (970) 349-5231. PAWS will assist the marshals until the owners are found or the animal is adopted out to a good family. Spay/Neuter Assistance ~ All cats and dogs that come to PAWS will be spayed or neutered before they are put up for adoption. We also provide assistance for spaying/neu

tering fees for owners. For assistance for spay/neuter fees, please fill out the form on our website. Adoption ~ Animals looking for new homes are first examined by the local veterinarian and are evaluated by our behavioral specialist before being placed into a new home. We try to match each animal with an appropriate loving family. Relinquishments ~ Relinquishments will be accepted on a space available basis. Please call PAWS for more information at (970) 209-3656. Please fill out the form at our website and return it to PAWS. Medical Assistance ~ Financial assistance is available for low income pet owners. Fostering ~ PAWS has wonderful families who open their hearts and homes to animals until they find a permanent home.

Hello. My sweet cat, Doctor, went missing 2nights ago (9/20, the night of the grump trial)
We came to CB to celebrate and he escaped our camper and went on an adventure… but now it’s beeen 2 full nights and I’m very worried.
He is usually kind of shy, but if you see him Please please please contact me asap and I will do to wherever you saw him to look for him.
He is striped, brown and black, with green yellow eyes. If you know anything at all, even if it’s the worst, I just need to know if he’s ok or what happened.

We are missing our dog from earlier today (lost around 11am mst). Last location of Kaiya was running along county rod 54 near Harmels on the Taylor.
Kaiya is a 2.5 year old cattle dog, with a white coat and brown ears (lots of spots on her). Roughly 60lbs, very friendly and should recall to her name.

Robin von Engeln's dog, Mae, is still missing. She lives in Greenwich Village in Denver. If you have cameras, would you please check your footage of Sunday, Sept 14 from about 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. to see if you spot her and where she may have headed? She was spooked while on her afternoon walk in Brookside just West of us and bolted away from Robin at that time heading East. If you see something it might give a better idea of where to continue looking for her. Looking at footage the next few days could also be helpful if she appears.

Mae is a dark brown Chesapeake, 1 year old. She is tagged and chipped. She is wearing a pink collar, shock collar and her Extend A Leash is attached. We're hoping the leash hasn't become caught on something. Robin says she will try to hide when she'd frightened so keeping a good eye open when you're out and about would be helpful.
