It takes a long time to degrease properly but its worth it! Here is my current setup.

The skull on the right is from a Texas deer and the skull on the left is from Iowa. There sure is a noticeable difference in size even though the antlers are similar!

These skull brackets are super simple but a great way to easily display a quality European Mount on the wall!

The difference between boiling and maceration/degreasing!

Boiling can result in damaged bones and greasy skulls over time.
Maceration/degreasing can result in a long lasting white skull with full intact bones.

The difference is noticeable!

This photo shows how the maceration process produces a quality European Skull Mount with all the nasal turbinates fully intact. Boiling and power washing can easily damage these fragile bones.

Dried with Borax and then covered with woodfiller to create a solid base and to further lock in the postioning. This is going to be a great display when it's complete. 🦃

Using the Oxidation method for this turkey skull. It's coming along but has a long way to go still.
