Today marks the 448th day that Othos has been at the Dog Pound. Recently he got to go for a spa day & pup cup.

Othos is housebroken & enjoys riding in a vehicle. He can be protective of the car if someone gets too close. He is very strong and will also need a secure yard with nothing near the fence to be able to jump and get over. 🙈Othos is a big, strong dog and needs a strong, capable alpha person in his life. He loves to be loved and to chill with his people. Othos can be selective in the people & dogs on his life. He is unwilling to co-exist with indoor cats.

Othos can easily load into the bed of a truck and travels well. Othos has zero problem with walking into the water and actually looked like he wanted to play in the surf on his beach day out. He likes to mark territory and wants to travel with his nose to the ground.

This is what he says about himself…”I’m a big, goofy guy that likes to have fun. I can be a rough player with my dog friends. I really have fun running with and meeting all the puppies. I have seen so many of my buddies get adopted and I really want a family of my own.”🥲

✅weighs 80 lbs and about 2-3 years old
✅would make a great running partner
✅doesn’t present well at kennel front but once he is out of his kennel is a different dog
✅knows sit, shake, down and come and loves to play “keep the ball away”🤦‍♀️
✅❤️meeting the kids but will need to be supervised around smaller children just because Othos is big and likes to be as close as possible.

Click here to apply for Othos or better yet come visit him this week at the Pound.

Meet Miya, a shining star ready to brighten up your life! Her elderly owner can no longer care for her, but this seven-year-old German Shepherd, female, is spayed and current on all of her vaccinations, and her love is waiting to be shared. Miya is friendly, full of love and great with kids! She is an indoor dog, but loves to stretch her legs outside and play with her ball. Miya is also potty trained already! She does not seem to enjoy the company of smaller animals and has not yet been tested with large dogs. If this sweet girl sounds like a match for you, please contact Angel at 7079519042.

If you’re looking for a puppy without the puppy shenanigans then we have your girl!
Lily is a 5-6 month old female pitty mix! She likes to romp and play but will also mellow and sack out on the couch with you! She loves other dogs and is respectful of cats. Lily is incredible with children of all ages including babies. She walks well on a leash even next to a stroller! She loves a game of tug or fetch and will settle in her crate for a nap afterwards and will even sleep in her crate all night without a peep! Lily is mostly potty trained and sits at the door to let you know she needs to go out. She knows “sit” and takes treats very gently! Lily is a grade A good girl and would make a wonderful family companion!
Lily has received her first vaccines and will be spayed this week. Message us if you’re interested in adopting!

Long time no see! PCCR is lightly dipping our toes back in the rescue world and helping to spread the word about these two SUPER CUTE little pitty babies!
On the left we have Charlie, a small brown male pit mix about 11-12 weeks old! He was being given away and the person that saved him can’t keep him long term.
On the right is a sweet female pit mix who was dumped a few days ago. She is about 4-5 months old and plays well with other dogs and is doing so good with potty training.
If you have any interest in either of these babes please message us. Each will come with their first vaccines.
