⚠️IMPORTANT UPDATES ⚠️

If you've been on our wait list, please check your messages! I've reached out to a lot of you with rabbits that I am looking to part with that meet your previous request. If you have not seen a message from me, that doesn't mean you're not on the list, just that I don't currently have anything that meets your request, but that may soon change.

I have several does in the barn that are actively prepping for expectant litters. I will be parting with many of those does once I have determined they were either unsuccessful for this last breeding attempt, or after they have raised their litters to 8 weeks.

Going forward, I will not be raising Ch*****ne d'Argents. I'm going to be focusing on a smaller herd that will include Polish, Mini Rex, Standard Rex, New Zealand, and Silver Fox. For those of you who may have had interest in Ch*****ne d'Argents, send me a message and I can connect you with a local to me breeder.

I can't give my standard 5 day wait time for the wait list contacts right now, so I will be making the remaining rabbits posted publicly soon. Please remember that I do have a full time paid job, a full time job caring for our toddler, a full time job caring for our homestead, and all other duties, so I am working in as quick of fashion as I can. Photos will not be perfectly posed, etc., and if that doesn't work for you, that's okay!

I appreciate you all for following along with our rabbitry journey here, and I look forward to the future ahead 🐇

I sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by a post shared earlier today regarding a full sellout. I understand that this may have raised questions, and I appreciate everyone who reached out.

As I consider some upcoming changes and downsizing, I want to make sure everything is handled thoughtfully and fairly. I have customers who have been patiently waiting for rabbits on our contact list, and they will be contacted first, before any remaining stock is offered publicly.

I know many of you have been waiting a long time, and I truly appreciate your patience, loyalty, and continued support. Any future updates regarding downsizing or available inventory will be shared here once I have finalized plans.

Thank you for your understanding and for being part of the Minick's Mad Hatter Rabbitry community. ❤️

When we first purchased this property, it came with its own mess of junk that needed cleaned up. Each year, we make more progress into what our “dream property” looks like. With the help of our village, we’ve been able to make significant progress, including our latest project of beautifying the front of the bunny barn! 🐰

Follow along to see what other projects we get into 😏

Congratulations to Hannah Hiat and her rabbits Ollie, an Otter (Black) Mini Rex Buck, & Ivory, a Black Mini Rex Doe, on their recent wins at the Delaware County 4-H Fair! 🏆 Together, Ollie brought home 1st place, Best in Breed, and will be going to the Indiana State Fair. Ivory also won 1st place and got runner up for Best in Breed. The judges commented on how these Mini Rexes were beauties! 🍀 🐰

Ollie is out of our Mini Rex stock, Dolly & Apollo. Ivory is also out of our Mini Rex stock, Rhea & Odin. If you or someone you know is interested in showing or raising Mini Rex, feel free to reach out to us to get on our contact list for future litters! We currently anticipate breeding to begin in late fall/early winter to give our does a well deserved break during the summer heat 🌞
