🌴 Exciting News from Indiana Reptile Center! 🌴

To all our amazing supporters and reptile enthusiasts, we have some big news to share!

We are temporarily closed…

After operating in Indiana since April 20, 2022, we are embarking on a new adventure and relocating to Miami, Florida for the remainder of 2024 and the start of 2025!

Don't worry, our commitment to helping reptiles and serving our Midwest community remains strong. Even though we'll be based full-time in the 305, we are still here to support all our Midwest friends with your reptile needs.

Over the past two years, we've had the privilege of rescuing and rehoming over 100+ different animals, and we are so grateful for your continuous support.

Thank you for being a part of our journey, and we can't wait to continue making a difference in the lives of these amazing creatures.

Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this new chapter.

Here's to exciting new beginnings and endless possibilities!

It’s that time of year to watch the roads!

But remember… If you see a box turtle trying to cross a busy road, you can pick it up and move it to the other side of the road in the direction it was facing. The turtle cannot be kept or moved to any other location.

If you find an injured turtle please contact a local vet first if it’s a minor injury contact a rehab 🙂

As the owner of IndianaReptileCenter, I want to make it clear that we are not a licensed veterinary clinic. While we specialize in rehabilitating, rehoming, rescuing, and breeding reptiles, we are not licensed to handle sick, ill, or injured pets. If your pet requires immediate medical attention, we urge you to seek the help of a licensed veterinarian. If you need a list of local veterinarians who work with reptiles please contact us.

We understand that pet owners may be in a difficult situation when they have a sick or injured pet, and we want to help in any way we can. However, we are not a "dump site" for irresponsible pet owners who no longer want to care for their pets.

We encourage pet owners to be responsible and provide the necessary care and attention for their pets. If you are unable to do so, please consider reaching out to local animal shelters or rescue organizations who may be able to assist you.

At IndianaReptileCenter, we are happy to provide guidance on where to seek veterinary care for your pet. We are passionate about animal welfare and want to ensure that all pets receive the care and attention they deserve.
