Unbridled Connection

Unbridled Connection Unbridled Connection offers healing and hope to the community. Kelly Jones is a certified equine professional with the Natural Lifemanship Institute.

I help people who are exhausted by anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, or emotional overwhelm find lasting relief by working with the nervous system—not just the mind. She is passionate about supporting people who are struggling with that feeling of being stuck, who want to break through unhealthy patterns of behavior that are affecting their relationships and quality of life. Through her innovative

method of partnering with horses, whether in a team with a licensed mental health professional or as a facilitator of coaching and workshops, her clients gain awareness, and experience a lifelong transformational shift as they reconnect to themselves and others. This journey helps them gain clarity and confidence, so that relationships improve as they get from where they are, to where they want to be.

“Becoming intimate with pain is the key to changing at the core of our being—staying open to everything we experience...letting these times open us, humble us, and make us wiser. Let difficulty transform you. And it will. We just need help in learning how not to run away.”

~ Pema Chodron

We are all born with an essence, a light. Shadows accumulate, weighing us down and covering our light. But we can decide to face those and it isn’t easy. It can even be excruciating. But the tears cleanse and our light is revealed once more. That sensation of freedom strengthens us and propels us forward into the life we were destined for.

Horses are never afraid to accompany us on this journey. There is no better warrior to have escorting you back to your life force.

You've done everything you're supposed to do...

✔ Read the books.
✔ Listened to the podcasts.
✔ Tried meditation.
✔ Took the supplements.
✔ Gone to therapy.
✔ Told yourself to "just relax."

Yet your body still feels like it's bracing for something bad to happen.

Your mind knows you're safe.

Your nervous system doesn't.

That's because anxiety isn't always a thinking problem.

Sometimes it's a nervous system that's been stuck in survival mode for years.

When your nervous system finally learns that the danger is over, something remarkable happens.

You stop fighting yourself.

Your shoulders soften.

Your breathing deepens.

You sleep.

You laugh again.

You start feeling like YOU.

And the best part?

This work can happen from the comfort of your own home through Zoom.

You don't have to keep living on edge.

One of the most rewarding parts of the work that I do has been with veterans who have served our country, and their families. Those who want to reconnect to their spouses, release anxiety so that they can play with their children, and recognize joy exists in the world and that they are valuable. Just as important is supporting the system at home that is operating without a key member of the family. Adjustments are made and when the veteran returns, there is a transition period that can be difficult.

When a horse deeply sees us, we realize we are not scary, or broken. We realize that we are capable of loving and being loved. Resentment can fade, and forgiveness steps in. Communication can be restored and healthy boundaries emerge as great tools.

It is transformational.

Please ask for help if you or someone you love is struggling. The world is a better place with you and your family in it. And there is peace calm and joy out there for you all.
