Hey, Vana, when do you plan to release your kids?

Vana should be due any day now, however we are starting to wonder if she gave false pregnancy signs. She doesnt look near as big as Jojo & Annwyn did but she also doesn't look like her normal sized self 🤔

Its with a heavy heart to say but little Mitch started to crash at 3am last night. Despite all attempts he passed in my arms about 630 this morning. He was taken to Bear Creek Animal Hospital and Shelter to be cremated so I can spread his ashes in the flower bed. Thank you Pam for snuggling him thursday night in your jacket, thank you Robin for getting him some sunlight yesterday afternoon (and for this adorable photo)
I know everyone was rooting for him, please know he passed away loved, warm and with a full belly. ♥️💔

Jotunheim had two babies last night, a healthy little doeling and unfortunately a little buckling that is struggling.
The little buckling has been seen by our trusted veterinarian and is being given a chance with tube feeding and other supportive care. It could go either way for him but we are giving him the best chance we can

Our first batch of goats were born 10/3 in the wee hours of the morning. We have triplets! Two doelings and 1 buckling. Mama Annwyn is doing fantastic as a first time mamma
These babies are 3/4 Nigerian Dwarf and 1/4 Fainting Goat.
If you are interested in a baby after weaning please let us know.

Goat & Sheep zoomies make my heart happy

Here's a weird one for you.
A friend/neighbor had a goat wander onto their property bloody and skinny.
Found out this buck and one other doe have been running free for weeks in the area.
With the help of a few people the property owner where they came from was found and the doe was found. The property owner was renting a trailer to someone who owned these goats and they got kicked out.
We showed him a picture of this boy and all he said was "oh he's alive?" Made no indications he wanted anything to do with the goat
The property owner had suspected that the "owner" had gone out and shot him or abandoned him for dead.
We went back to offer to take the doe but we could not find him or the doe at the property.

I'm not sure if this guy will forever stay with me but we will get him fed and healed up (thankfully just looks like face/nose cuts from barbwire or something similar.)
He's super sweet and friendly and stinky (intact buck)

We've decided to call him Sycros.
He should have a name no matter how long he stays with us.
