Update!: remember Julie Jones? She's baaaaack!!! Julie will be helping in the Sudsy Puppy this summer and then will be doing Para work at Eustis Schools starting in the fall. But I'll take her help as much as she can offer!

Julie has years and years of experience in the dog grooming world!!! I'll be there still too🫶 But having 2 groomers available helps me be able to run out for kids appointments or if they are sick and not having to completely move everyone and you still get your pup looking good 👏 I'm so blessed to have her and hopefully this will give you a heads up if you see a new face in the shop! Welcome back Julie 🤗

P.s.a.....if I forget to respond to your calls, texts, messages. Please reach out again. I'm getting really disheartened by people that try to reach me on Saturday, Sundays or late in the evening and then get upset at me for forgetting. These are times when I'm usually with my family or running kiddos around. And by the time my brain is back in my shop, I forget who all I need to respond too. About 90% of inquiries come from nights and weekends.

I'm really trying guys ❤️ Bailey is leaving for a full time job starting May 1st which will book me even farther out for right now. I have to prioritize my current clientele (whom I adore)and my family time ❤️ I'm blessed with some amazing people and even more amazing pups 🐶

And if you know anyone who'd like a part-time internship as a bather and learn some things please send them my way 🫶

Hi all! Just a quick update because I am SWAMPED with phone calls. From what I'm hearing, we lost two great groomers from the Lexington area due to moving and retirement.

With that has brought a lot of phone traffic. I'm getting calls week nights, Saturdays, Sundays, Sunday nights. People frustrated at me for not getting back to them until Monday. And being completely honest. I cannot handle the call volume and especially when I am trying to do life outside of the shop ❤️ I am booked until Mid-April and cannot take on new dogs at this time. If I do take on too many newbies then I'm doing my regulars a dis-service because I wouldn't be able to keep them on their rotation. A lot of these dogs I've done since they were pups and a lot of these people have supported me from day 1. My advice to my current dogs, to stay on a regularly booked schedule to maintain your spot if possible. I'm doing my best to rotate in new clients as I can but right now I'm at capacity for what I can do and do a good job on ❤️ I will also be losing Bailey (who bathes and dries for me) in May. So I'm trying to take that into consideration for my workload as well.

Thank you so much for understanding and please know that I'd meet every one of your pups if I had the time! I so appreciate your patience and I'm thankful for you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ok guys, I'm really praying about this. I'm shutting down my client list. Right now I'm booked into February, which is great! Don't get me wrong, but I want to take these next few months to focus on my current clientele. Let me beat you to a few questions....
NO, I'm not closing
YES, if you have an appointment, you still have one and will continue to.

I'm just not taking on new dogs as of now. This might open back up down the road.

What I will say....take care of your current dog groomer, hairstylist, waitress, nail tech, ect ect.

Especially if they try their hardest to show up for you, to keep things affordable for you, to go the extra mile to accommodate you. "I can do it myself" gets thrown around a lot. And that in fact could be the case. And if it is, I'm literally happy for you to be able to save some bucks. But unless people want to start doing a lot of things "themselves" please start appreciating these people...or we'll be doing a lot "ourselves"

Burnout is real and it's not solely from the work itself ❤️
