Hi y'all!
So, I had been waiting on my mom (Brenda) to give me a script on what she wanted posted. She is SO INSANELY busy trying to make this year at the tree farm your best yet, that I decided to answer this question for her.

"Will we have trees to cut down?"

The short answer is not very many, as we are shifting more towards a pre-cut inventory. The Covid year we were happily slammed with business. Our field took a hit we were not expecting. Please keep in mind that a full size Christmas tree takes 8-10 years to get prime height and even longer for the large trees that more and more are requesting. It was not an easy decision.

Considering the financial side, the labor, the time, and the ground that's required plus the fact that we cannot forecast what kind of field we'd need in 8 years. To serve you best we just felt like this was right.

I know this may be disappointing to some but please keep in mind that my parents have NEVER charged anyone a fee to visit the farm, which is unheard of for these type of outings. They work really hard to make sure your visit is always welcomed. And it is, they really, really love each and every one of you❤️ So please do not let this deter you. We are working on some more activities for this year plus the years to come. As always we are SO excited to see you 🌲

Hi everyone! With it becoming harder and harder to predict what each season will bring, we are shifting more towards a pre-cut selection to better supply customers in the years to come. We are looking at doing a very large order for next year but need to know if there's a demand first! Filling this....

After these are sold, we'll have to go down to kind of appointment only type thing for what's left in the field. We will be doing an online spreadsheet. We'd REALLY appreciate you to fill it out, letting us know what size of tree you'd be interested in for next year. We are looking to do a larger amount of trees and it will help us know how many and what sizes to serve you! Please be on the lookout for the upcoming form! It will neither promise you a tree or lock you in to one. It simply will help us know how big of an order to place because we're looking at going pretty big next year in the pre-cut 🎄🥳

Despite us bringing on extra trees, we are running low on our cut trees and our field is getting low as well!(we are shifting towards a smaller lot and more pre-cuts. Not closing!)

We are bringing in some extra trees from a different location this year! Those who came last year know we were shorted our popular size of 8-9 ft. We are running to Ogallala tonight to meet a truck to get 30 large Douglas Firs to add to our lot! This is on top of our regular order(pictured)those trees are beautiful too)! 🥳🎄 Whooooo's ready?! 🙋🏼‍♀️
