Looking for a name for a fluffy, dark, kitty with big, watchful eyes, a GI infection, and a heart full of hate for humans ❤️😁

This little guy (or girl?) was LOUDLY yelling for his family in an all TNR'd cat location. It's no doubt that he's lost.
He's feral as feral can be, but I've trapped, dewormed, treated him for fleas, and have him settled in to a big, roomy cage.
Now, with a handful of churus and all the patience in the world, I will try to earn his trust over the next several weeks.
If I fail, he'll be neutered and returned to the streets or a local barn 🙏

But for now... we've gone 0 days without a hiss, and ✨️2 days✨️ without a hand slap 🎉

Finally! After 13 days, I have a phone again! What better way to celebrate than to post an update on Kintsugi 🖤💛🖤
You might remember this little lady from a few weeks ago? Kitten with a broken hip? She's gets stronger every day and in no time her fracture will be just a memory 💛

Just finished my 11-page report on the 12 months of Cat Cleanup! Sharing with you a map of Cozad area and the number of cats caught within.

The big map has areas Cozad and beyond coded alphabetically, with 'C' (inside Cozad) split into 71 sub-sections. Find the section/subsection on the list to see how many cats were caught in that area! If the area is not listed, then none were caught there.

Please note area 'D' is overdrawn and should not include section 69
.. lol 'D'... '69' ... Jeez bad map planning 😹 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

One year anniversary of the Cat Cleanup Project!

9 "Rounds" later, A grand total of 352 cats SO FAR have been spayed/neutered/adopted/other from Gothenburg, Cozad, Overton, Lexington, and Trenton combined! 332 in Cozad alone!

That's 150 spays, 128 neuters, 15 other (9 already fixed, 1 no exterior genitalia, 3 returned for foster, 2 died of pre-existing complications), and 59 adoptions!!!

Will Round 10 break 400? Only time will tell!

Posting will be slow until I can get a new phone!
Tentative plans for round 10 are set for Sept. 16-21!

This means trapping for ferals will start Wednesday, Sept. 16, continue for three days, and conclude on Saturday, Sept. 19. Pet check-in will be on Sunday Sept. 20 with departure to Beatrice afterward, and surgeries and returns will be on Monday Sept. 21

It's never too early to register your pet! There are 20 spots available :)
