Here is an important example of cat math! The Spicy One Eye Mama, known to her humans as "Patches" (Pepper patch?) had SIX spicy babies - 4 females, 1 male, 1 unknown..

Assuming these babies inherit their mothers super reproductive-ness (in the 5 years I've chased her she's never had less than 6 in a litter), in a few months from now, six kittens, AND Mama, would have or contribute to having six kittens each, for a new total of FORTY TWO kitties in the alley 😃

Then by the next season, 42 kitties + 6 original kittens + 1 one eye Mama ALL multiply by 6 more each ... Now we're over 300 cats in the alley 😃😃😃😃😃😃

If even just 1/3 of these lived to adulthood, that's still a 100- cat increase in less than 1 year 🫣

6th: male kitten from the last litter, selected for adoption

One Eye Mama cat does not bluff 😤

It took me FIVE YEARS to catch this elusive super producer. Glad to say she AND 5/6 of her last batch of kittens (1 of which is Carolina Reaper) are fixed now ❤️🎉🎉

Love you 4ever, Mama 🥰😾 you're worth all the trouble 😃

HUGE thank you to Colene and Dana for being super supporters of the project!

Dana volunteers her time doing the "morning shift" care for caged animals (food, water, bedding, 💩 removal) AND donated all these comforters for Round 6 to help keep the kitties comfortable during -12° nights 🥰😽
When the blankets are dirty, Colene volunteers her time in a huge way by picking up, washing, drying, folding, and dropping off every single one!
I am so lucky to have these kind hearted and hard working girls in my corner! Round of applause!!! 👏👏👏👏
