🏠 FACILITY UPDATE!!! 🏠
For those of you that see us on the road each weekend at expos and or are close to us, you know we have been working on our brand new facility for some time now! But to those who haven’t heard, here’s the official update!
With us continuing to scale each year and needing more space, we planned on building a facility for a while now and the opportunity came last year in 2025 to start that journey.
We have been running snakes, geckos, and tortoises out of two smaller locations for several years now and have someone else breeding rodents for us. This new location opportunity will allow us having not only all the reptiles in one location, but also the start of us doing our rodent operation ourselves in full force for the first time!
We started in late May 2025 and what I thought would be a 2-3 month build, is still on going lol silly me, welcome to building a building from scratch lol With so many moving parts and really needing this build to be what we need it to be for long term, we anticipate the whole build ending in May 2026 and being about a full year process from start to finish.
With us running into breeding season early winter late 2025, I made the decision to wait to move the animals in the building and just continue to breed in two smaller locations for the 2026 breeding season to unsure breeding wasn’t jeopardized by the move and I’m glad I did that as we probably won’t be moving animals in until late spring early summer.
This is a long awaited post I know but with things coming together more now and the build end on the horizon, I thought it was time to share this part of our journey. Below in the post will be several pics of the reptile side of the build structurally. I will do another post for the rodent side. Going forward I’ll have updates on more current events of the build as we get closer to move in. The see the structure build progression from start to finish, go all the way to the end of the photo list and come back up.
