Seeking Working Student

Join EquiBest Equestrian Center, an active Eventing and Dressage Barn outside of New Orleans, looking to add a working student to the team! This is a great opportunity for the right person to work at a very busy training and lesson barn that also brings along young thoroughbreds.
Interested individuals do not need to have experience in Eventing but do need to have riding experience.

Responsibilities will included but not limited to:
Grooming
Tacking
Veterinary assistance
Medicating/ treating horses
Riding
Teaching lessons

Benefits include but are not limited to:
Housing
Board for a horse
Lessons

Candidate must meet the following criteria:
-own transportation and drivers license
-at least 18 years of age
-look forward to the opportunity to ride a wide variety of available horses
-have experience with horses/comfortable around young just off the track racehorses
-ability to follow directions independently
-solution oriented
-motivated to learn and expand on existing skills
-friendly and comfortable interacting with clients and farm visitors
-provide references
