Meet Gussy! 🐾 We’ve been seeing this sweet boy over the past few months while we manage a pretty rare skin disease. Well today Gussy came in because he wasn’t feeling too well. Despite this he and his mom brought some treats for the staff as a thank you for all the care and pets he gets every time he comes in. What a guy 🥰 Here he is presenting his gifts and letting us know they are all Gussy-approved! Thanks Gussy, we loved the basket full of goodies!! 💓

Our power is back! But we are still having trouble with our phones. We can not receive calls or dial out. We will be open tomorrow, 12/12, and seeing appointments as scheduled. We are working hard to solve the issues with our phones. Hopefully it will only interrupt a little of our day tomorrow! 🙏

Meet Mop Mop!! 🐾 We met this little squishy guy earlier this year. Here he is patiently waiting for his annual visit. Mop mop can be used to mean “chunky” in Japanese 🇯🇵. One things for sure, this guy certainly is cute cute!

It’s that time of year when we get to take a moment and celebrate these wonderful humans you see here who care for your pets day in and day out, 365 days a year! 🤩💖🥳💓🥰

✨For every interaction, every time we’ve helped and treated for your pets, there’s always been a veterinary technician there—be it at the forefront, in the background, by our sides, or everywhere all at once. Vet techs are good like that. These guys are the backbone of the veterinary profession and without them we truly couldn’t do what we do.✨

It takes a special kind of person to be a veterinary technician and we feel particularly lucky to have such a wonderful crew at Coventry Animal Hospital. Forever grateful to this group and all the veterinary technicians out there. Thank you for everything you do❣️

Next round of Weekends in Westerly! 🗓️

As a reminder, every 6 weeks we’re closed at Coventry Animal Hospital and we’re open at Salt Ponds Animal Hospital (our sister hospital) for the weekend.

Check out the upcoming weekends at the Pond, starting this weekend!

Salt Ponds Animal Hospital is located at 31 Post Road, Westerly, RI 02891.

At Salt Ponds we’ll be seeing annuals and same-day sick appointments. Therefore during these weekends please call the staff there at 401-596-0858 if your pet is having a problem!

Coventry Animal Hospital will be 🚫 CLOSED 🚫 on these weekends. We encourage you to plan ahead by picking up medication refills, prescriptions, preventatives, diets before or after these weekends if needed, and make sure not to drop off any samples at CAH as we won’t be there to receive them.

Fear not, we will post reminders prior to each weekend!
